My First Entry

My first post of a fresh new blog. There is always something particularly delicious about that, a bit like at the start of the school year and getting a fresh exercise book.

Was shocked today to hear about the sudden death of Amy Winehouse. I wouldn't describe myself as a huge fan, but I did love her music. To echo what many people have said on forums such as Digital Spy, whilst the news is a shock it is not all that unexpected and it seemed expected that her life would always be one which ended tragically and at a young age. Love her or loathe her there is no mistaking Amy Winehouse has given us one of the most distinctive voices of recent times. RIP Amy, you will be missed but not forgotten.
